About the Brand / Almost Heaven

Almost Heaven Saunas has built sauna rooms in the Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia since 1977, one of the oldest sauna makers in the United States. Its cabins and cedar barrel saunas are still hand-built there today. In 2018, Harvia, the Finnish sauna and heater manufacturer, acquired the company and now supplies the heater engineering behind every Almost Heaven unit.

That heritage shows in the build. Rooms use solid cedar or fir with tongue-and-groove construction, not thin veneer, and each is made to order, about 7 to 9 weeks out. Almost Heaven backs the room with a lifetime warranty and the Harvia heater for 5 years, among the strongest coverage in the home sauna category. Reviews are consistent: the heat and the heater hold up; the most common complaint is shipping delays on a made-to-order product, not the sauna itself.

Ellara carries Almost Heaven for buyers who want a real traditional sauna, American-made and Harvia-engineered, over an imported cabin dressed up as premium.
